Crossfire totaled
Insano hits you took!! Now that's how a car is supposed to handle a collision....or two.....simultaneously. Very happy to hear you came out of that crash, but absolutely amazed that a roadster could take those hits and keep you safe. I already knew you could flip minivans over in these things, but that's only recommended for coupe drivers! Now it's time to replace it, so I would think you feel very safe in another one.
Thanks for all the well wishes, it was with God's grace that nobody was hurt. I should post more photos, you can see where the bus's back wheel drove over the hood of the car. The drives side back looks ok, but the where the truck hit it is a few inches shorter, but it really did hold up nicely. Showed the video to my neurologist today ( yes I did get a minor concussion) and he was amazed at the car as well.

I think I must have watched your video a dozen times, (I know it sounds strange to say this) but boy are you lucky! Somebody was most definitely watching over you.
My Daughter was stopped at a traffic light in Vegas, when a woman (talking on her cell phone) rear ended her Civic. Hardly did any damadge to her rear bumper, but she wound up in physical therapy for a year due to her back injury.
The woman that hit her car never got off the phone the whole time the LEO was writing up her ticket. Plus he gave my Daughter a ticket for having Ohio plates on her car, since she was employed in Vegas. (Guess it didn't matter the car was still in my name).
Just one question, why did it take a near fatal accident to get you to join the Forum?

Actually I think I joined when I first got my crossfire but would read and not post. The forum was such help on topics from oil changes to head lamp light bulb change, that I would have screwed up had I not been reading. I posted about my car so that everyone here could truly appreciate what I great car the crossfire is. I always knew for the price I could never haven gotten such a great car. After 7 years of ownership, I would still get comments about the car or see people in parking lots "checking it out". What a mistake chrysler did by not marketing this car properly. I miss my fire already so much, it was dependable reliable and such a fun drive.
I'm happy that you are ok. Have you started shopping for your new Crossfire yet? I think that we would be interested in hearing how much the insurance company offers you for your car.
Via con Dios, Go with God, he sure protected you in this case. Question, My Roadster needs a new top, my rear window was butchered in Dallas before I bought it, what is the verdict on your car, will it be totalled? And can I buy your top w window?
