Winter Storage - Top
I meant to post this earlier in the year. This may help other people as you prepare tp put the cars up for the winter. I have just finished putting all the roadsters (TR3, TR6, MG-TD and the Xfires) to bed for the winter and solved an issue with the Xfire that has bugged me since since it was new. But last winter I thought of a fix.
I have those form fitting covers and they have a fleece liner so it does not impact the paint. Great idea except it leaves speaks on the cloth top which is a pain to clean. So I took a construction grade trash bag and cut it in half and it fits perfectly and then I put the cover on.
Well no more fuzzies in the Spring. I know I'm a slow learner.
