Default What's the better buy?

Opinions appreciated. What is the better buy. A 2005 SRT-6 roadster or a 2008 limited roadster. Both; black, 40kish mi., $17-18k, vg.-ex. condition. Thanks in advance for any help.

Wait let me think............................................. ...Limited...................no, no wait.........yep Limited. Do you have the phone number for the guy selling that not so good a deal SRT6???? Would hate to see anybody get burnt by buying an old 05 SRT. I'll just pick it up and get it off the market.

If the Limited is the last car by VIN number.....that would be a fiind.

I have owned four Crossfires, 3 N/A and my current SRT-6. My Limiteds were great, but the SRT-6 is by far the most fun car I have ever owned.

If they are both automatics, then the SRT6 is a no-brainer. If the roadster is a stick, you have to decide whether you want to paddle a car that gets to 60 in 6.5 seconds and can do 150mph, or just push the go-button on a car that does it in 4.6 seconds and has an 8 mph higher top end. I like both of mine, but they are different performance cars. Also, the SRT6 averages 23 mpg while the n/a is closer to 30.

This thread is a waste of space, the OP posted this on the 9th and lasted visited on the 10th. He obviously does not care so why should we.
Just a tire kicker, without any $$$$?

WHOOOOOOO, take a step backwards...it might be true about the Writer but, you might have a Reader that had the question on their mind. I teach, and there is no silly questions in life, for it might never teah the question'r but the person whoi might need the answer listening in.

180, must be the pressure of the holidays for you...have another Egg Nog, and smile.

Forgive me onehundred80. I wasn't aware I was "on your clock!!!" BTW, already have a white 06 roadster & looking at options, including "tire kicking" an 06 SL500 or an 07 SL550.

For the other non-a**hole responses, thanks for your input! If I decide to go the Crossfire route again, it will definitely be a black SRT-6 roadster.

Regards,

DA

You make a post, a week later you post again which now says you have a Crossfire already and give me *****. The first post in this thread is typical of many posts that people start and then abandon with no further input and are never heard from again.
You never said you had one already which might have altered some of the responses you got, including mine.
Apart from asking about an SRT in your first post we did not have much to go on at all.

If you want a black SRT roadster then Iblubyu (?) has an immaculate one for sale.
