Default Manually raising and lowereing the top

I have a 2005 Crossfire roadster and I'm having trouble with the top. Is there any way of lowering and raising the top MANUALLY? The switch has a blinking red light and though the windows work the top doesn't.

Do a search and I'm sure you'll find some very useful info. I don't have a roadster but from what I've read about top malfunctions it could be a couple things. It could be the switch in the trunk. You know where you hook the partition in the trunk and latch both sides. If it's not seated correctly, it may not recognize that the partition is in the correct position and hence not operate. It also could be a bad switch, even if it is seated correctly. I think only one side has the sensor ........ I believe it's the left side latch.

It could be other things as well but that seems to be a more common issue.

Good Luck.

Yes.

To Lower :
1. Lower both windows.
2. Release the top lock.
3. using a 6 MM Hex wrench, release the bow lock which is accessible just inside the opened trunk lid. ( put the trunk divider in the 'top down' position )
4. close the trunk
5. raise the rear window bow, use the 'special tool' or a thin 10 MM wrench to release the tonneau latch. ( dead center in the little gap at the front of the tonneau cover.
6. raise the tonneau cover, and while holding it up, gently lower the top into the well. ( easier said than done. )
7. close the tonneau cover and re-latch.

To raise :
1. lower both windows.
2. release the tonneau latch.
3. raise the tonneau and hold in raise position while using your other two hands to raise the top.
4. hold the rear window bow up and lower / latch the tonneau cover.
5. lower the window bow and upen the trunk and latch it with the 6 MM wrench.
6. close the trunk.
7. latch the top at the windshield header.
