Got my tracking number today.

 

Some of you have received tracking info and some of you will be receiving it tomorrow. Modules are done and I just need to get everything boxed up and shipped out. I apologize for the delay and lack of an update. Been very busy with work, wife, baby and baby on the way.

Those that live outside of the US, please note that international shipping is an additional $20 and can be paid via PayPal to rcompart@gmail.com. If you've already sent a second payment, you're good to go. If you haven't, please submit it soon so I can get your QUick Touch Top shipped out with everyone else's.

Christmas gifts are meticulously wrapped and I usually get away with only 3 pieces of tape, regardless of size if it's 6 flat sides. These are wrapped up like this as it keeps them from getting beat up wherever in the world they are going.

Sadly I can't fit in any size flat rate box so if I'm doing the install, let me know when I need to be at O'Hare. It's cold here so if you get me there and back, I'll do the install gratis. LOL

Trick on the install; take your time and solder everything. Crimped connections are not reliable for the electrical requirements these modules operate under and for Pete sake, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE USE SCOTCH-LOKS OR ANY OTHER INSULATION PIERCING CONNECTOR!!! I have to make that all caps as that is literally the only thing that has caused these things to stop working.

Your module will ship today. Your payment came from a non-US and unregistered paypal account so my procedure for these types of payments is to wait a few days for the payment to clear and then verify with paypal that everything is OK to ship. The Quick Touch is installed. But it only works one way. The wires seem to be connected properly. What would you thing the problem is? Please let me know. I have another Crossfire convertible I would like to have it installed in when I get this one working.
