Wanted to say hello with my new car
Today I made the plunge and got rid of my 2002 Acura CL Type S with all of its transmission problems and heartache and now am the proud owner of a 2005 convertible roadster limited. I hope to enjoy this car and be an active part of the forum.
Matt, congratulations on your new roadster and welcome to the board. You will enjoy both. I have been a member of this forum for awhile and get a lot of enjoyment from it. I should be a full fledged member in about two weeks when my Blaze Red roadster arrives. (I should get my build number next week).
Did you see the post about the forum's Crossfire International Club. I think it's under the Coupe section.
Hope you have lots of happy miles.

Thanks everyone, mine is the dark graphite, with the slate charcoal and grey interior. My only questions are 1. What is the build #? and 2. where can you find performance part upgrades?
Matt... welcome aboard!!!
By chance, was the transmission in your Acura the Sport Shift automatic? I had a '98 Prelude with the Sport Shift and had to have it replaced at 15k miles. Seems like Honda made a mistake with that transmission and really doesn't want to do a recall. They extended the transmission warranty on the '99 and up models, but left the '97 and '98 owners hanging out to dry. It really ticked a lot of loyal Honda owners off... anyway I sold it and bought the XF which I might not have done if they weren't having problems with the Sport Shift.

(knock on wood) so far our autostick has not given us any problems - nor do I know of other autostick problems. Good Choice in Color and Tranny
