Default Seriously

The roadster sits in the driveway and thanks to the birds I have taken to using a car cover the past couple weeks. Solving one problem leads to a new problem, I look out the window a couple hours ago and one of the neighborhood stray cats is laying right in the middle of the roof. Not wanting to spook him I walk towards him and he slowly gets up and hops down. I come back from the store and he's up there again, the s.o.b is using it like a hammock. He's a small cat but, I am concerned he will cause a dip between the top braces, the wife thinks I am worried about nothing. Bottom line, how do I stop him from laying there or at least what should I do to protect the top. Causing any physical harm to the cat is not an option.

I don't know if it will work but I heard if you spray some white vinegar on it it might keep it off cause they don't like the smell of it. But then you'll have a smelly cover.
