Default Lead Time Update

I just ordered my roadster on friday nite(silver/blue sapphire, autostick, asp tires) and the dealer told me the lead time is currently 8 weeks. Hope this helps...

I ordered my car 8/10 and the delivery is slated for 10/12. Right on track...roughly 8 weeks. I did hear hurricanes can change that time though, poor LeeBea

Congratulations! Get in line behind Ken who is in line behind me. I wish you good luck on the 8 weeks. Mine will be 13 1/2 assuming I get it on Thursday. I ordered on June 28th but we lost a week because of DC vacation for the week of the 4th of July. The car left the factory on August 30th as scheduled. It disappeared until last week, apparently some due to the time it takes for Customs clearance and some because the ship wouldn't leave Germany with the threat of hurricanes coming up the coast. It arrived in Maryland last week and is scheduled for delivery to the dealer today. I am scheduled to pick it up on Thursday. The service manager said it will be ready.

Thumbs up Re: Lead Time Update

My roadster was ordered just three weeks ago and I got word from my dealer that my it will ship this weekend, 10/24; Pending customs/shipment time it will arrive at my dealer soon thereafter. Slated for middle of November pickup, that is just 6 weeks now from the time of my order to projected pickup. Of course with the huge frost I had this morning when I left for work, I doubt I'll be able to go topless until the spring...

Good luck. I hope the timing works out as you hope. You'll get some top down weather in November, and maybe even December. It was a sunny 57 here today and was nice around town with the top down. On the highway it might have been a little different. The first year I had my Sebring convertible, I had the top down at least one day of almost every month, including January (on those rare 60 degree days). The roadster seems to be warmer on the cool days than the conventional convertible was... so don't count out top down weather anytime.
