Can anybody advise me about a windrestrictor that really has an effect?

Your choices are mesh or plexi-glass, and both reduce backdraft to some degree, particularly with the windows up. However, neither will completely eliminate wind & noise, as these are roadsters after all.

I recently purchased the mesh screen from chromdesign in Germany and am very happy so far
