I have a 05 Crossfire Roadster Limited, but why does it have a black molding around the front screen ? It's loaded with all the options but for some reason it has a black molding ?? I'm in the UK as is the car .

 

If it has silver door handles, silver side grille fins and silver radio *****, then a previous owner painted it black.

Yeah everything is silver so they must of painted the molding black ,thanks mate that's great at leased I know now :-)

 

Paint it back silver, looks MUCH better.

I'm pretty sure the factory made a limited edition model with black moldings around the windshield. All I've ever seen were red roadsters. It also came with SRT6 15 spoke style wheels, except they were painted gray between the spokes. See picture attached.

 

You are correct sir, as pizzaguy will attest. He has one, and yes you could get any color you wanted, as long as it was red.

 

Mine is a 05 RoadsterLimited in Sapphire Silver Blue,Iv'e looked at the moldings very closely and they are deffinatley a factory finish on them ,not just someone getting them painted , a bloke up the road who owns a Crossfire Coupe commented that it was odd to have black molding's .
The plot thickens !

I have a question regarding this...

The car I am (hopefully) collecting next week is identical to the one in the photo (black moldings, silver grills and the same wheels), but it has a cloth interior, not leather. I thought it was just the base model, but now I am confused.

 

The Special Edition model does have cloth interior.

 

Thanks James. So I guess it is the SE. Are there any other differences from the base model other than the wheels and grilles etc.?
