Keeping the car but the SRT-6 engine and transmission has been sold. 27,000 mile SL55AMG engine has been stripped down to the bare block. Being bored, sleeved,Carillo pistons and rods then balanced. Weistec 3 liter supercharger,650 injectors, fuel rail, innercooler, killer chiller, needswings modified heads, headers and DCAI. Bolted to Rudy's modified V-12 BiTurbo transmission with 327 Wavetrax rear end. Then either me or someone else will be widening out the rear fenderwells for wider tires. It's already in the works. That is the best part... you could go race and get better times, every time out without doing more mods... for years...

Heck, it has been 8 years and I still get better times every year.
I need to get more rubber on the ground to help improve takeoffs. My 245/40/18 just cant grab enough but I have a lot of fun!

Like many members, mine was USAF 1972 (February) to 1995 (January)... I miss it, not as much when I first got out though!
