Talking Cleaner for Radio ***** ??

Can someone tell me what product to use to clean the radio ***** ? They feel like silicone
or clear rubber material; I am a detail guy and have tried several different type cleaners
but to no avail... It seems the oil and dirt on your fingers rub off and make these *****
look dirty. Help .. thanks Dick in RDU ... both cars 2005/06 roadsters ..
Yes, the ***** are silver color ... thanks

Thank you. I didn't want to force it .. maybe if I take them off, I can figure a way to clean them. This
must have been an inherent problem; one which may not be correctable .. Thank you to all who
replied so quickly ...

I sprayed mine with silver metallic. Waited a day and put two coats of clear on and they look like new again. Push them on gently from the center. I had to redo them after about 4 years. Easy to do.

I may be wrong but I think it is the oil in our fingers that makes the paint go yellow. I only listen to one station and hardly ever touch the *****, they are like new. I got a nav radio way back and switched the ***** from my OEM radio, they are still like new but they are on the shelf now though.

Just another point on the dirty radio *****; mine are not turning yellow, but dark grey or
getting black looking. Really, only the one that you push for on/off .. Anyway, that's my
saga.. I hope I'm not beating a dead horse... thanks
