Question Regarding luggage

I know when the coupes first came out they sent you free luggage. Do they still do this with the roadster??

look at your window sticker and if it has "touring gear" listed on it you will get a set of luggage, if not you are out of luck.

I received the luggage with my roadster when I got it in March. Arrived 2 weeks after I picked up the car. It was a factory order and it did list the touring gear on the window sticker.

I've got my little brother on Touring Gear watch at home. Its almost been one week since purchase and no touring gear yet. I'm expecting it by mid June, hopefully Chrysler is on top of things. I'll keep you guys posted.

My roadster was delivered in February and I got my touring gear within two weeks just in time to use it on my trip to Florida in March. I took all three pieces with me and they fit into the trunk nicely. However, you can't put the top down with all that in the trunk.

Thumbs down Re: Regarding luggage

You can put the top up and down as long as the bags are not over-stuffed. I have used all 3 pieces a few times on short trips, and was able to operate the top.

Crossfire LTD,

How did you arrange the luggage in the roadster with the top down?

Thanks Al.

Smile Re: Regarding luggage

Thanks for the answers to my questions about the luggage. I picked up my new Crossfire on Friday and have been wondering if I would get the new luggage. I looked on my window sticker and it does have touring gear listed. I'm happy about that. Thanks again for the info...

Also, I'd like to know where I can get chrome splash guards to keep the mud and tar from flying up from the wheels. Anyone have any idea?

Dear Regarding Luggage:

Go to the dealer where you purchased your Crossfire. The dealer has the paper work forms whereby the dealer ORDERS the luggage and has Chrysler mail the 3 piece luggage directly to the address which you request. My 2005 Luggage came within 5 weeks of my May 3 purchase date. The luggage is included in your purchase price of the car -- it is not an "add-on". You will love the "Mag" wheels on the largest piece and the attention to detail within all 3 luggage pieces.

Enjoy -- Lowell

I received my luggage today... Its so cool... I'm still not so sure all 3 pieces will fit in that tiny trunk. Especially with the top down... I do love the looks of the luggage though. Mine is black. I wonder if they all are black.
