Default Srt6 spoiler on N/A

Hi
i just purchased a srt6 spoiler with base plate from a roadster . I have a black roadster with tuxedo interior . I have red amg brake calipers from c32 amg. I am thinking of having the entire spoiler/ wing painted red .
yes or no , what do you think .

Regarding installation, anything specific i need to know , I’m aware of the need to short the microswitch from my current n/a spoiler .

anyone have picture of car with srt6 wing / spoiler in different color Than car?

thanks

There's a thread on here about leaky SRT spoilers. A lot of good info on how some have some have sealed it. Definitely a good preventative measure so that you don't have to worry about water getting in the lower trunk space.

Thank you ,
it has arrived , and i have test fitted , with nice result. Now off to the paint shop , will be car coluor ( black ) ,was dreaming of painting it red , and putting on a red top too , but afraid it will be too much .....
‘I have read in another thread, that the motor of original spoiler, will have to remain connected , I’m order to trick computer .any way of avoiding this ? ,

Be sure to inspect for cracks where the uprights meet the wing before having it painted. James

PS not sure any red color will go along with the vanilla interior. IMO.

Almost every roadster spoiler has cracks

Fix them before paint or they just crack again

My repair was 1-1/2 years ago, no new cracks
If you just use filler, be prepared to have it crack again

Just to sum up this ,
I now have a srt6 Wing on my n/a . Found a nice one with out Any cracks.

one problem , is that i have my spoiler swith light blink , when i go faster that 50km/h . And the my top is not working . Stop Car , Turn off engine / and start again . Top Will run until i get past 50km/h . Then same problem .
I have my n/a spoiler morer still Connect , and made a short on one of the Microsoft switches . Also troede to trick computer with pushing spoiler up Button.

Great question Raketten,
I have the same issue. When I need to put the roof up, I have to turn off the car and turn it back on to complete the cycle

I know there is a work around to this but I haven’t had the time to look into it

If there is someone out there with a work around, I too would like to hear about it.
