I am surprised State Farm covered the claim in general, approved that amount and the car wasn't almost totaled because of the claim. State Farm goes by what a dealership would charge at the retail price. The top is discontinued but it seemed to have retailed for $1301 when it was available and I don't see labor being $1100.

We don't know what the deductible and that could be the difference?

No Deductible ... see post #12 for the breakdown of the total price ... The claim was filed under Comprehensive Coverage

Your post didn't say no deductible just what the shop charged you. Comprehensive coverage can have a deductible, just having it doesn't mean there isn't one depends on the policy.

You came out way ahead. Congrats.
