My Limited Roadster is still in shop for 100% repaint. The car was stripped of everything except recessed Chrysler emblem on trunk lid. All painting is complete. Two weeks ago informed re-assembly would take one week.
Questions - How high are the letters mounted above the bottom lip of trunk lid?
Also, what is total width of "Crossfire" letter installation? From left edge of the "C" to right edge of the "E". I remember the "S" is centered.
Crossfire has now been in the shop over 8 months. Apparently insurance company collision repairs get priority.
Thanks, Phil
The 2004 models have the letters very close to the lower trunk edge. Starting in 2005, the letters were moved higher on the trunk to accommodate the SRT badging.

I have a drawing I made somewhere, I will look for it. It is for 2005 models and later.

All on my 2005 are the same distance from the bottom edge ... space between the letters varies
Not to question your statement regarding the height above the botton edge of the trunk lid, BUT, when the letters come they are attached to an adhesive tape and letters are already properly spaced. Also the bottom edge of the trunk lid is not stright measured from edge to edge. How can the letters be the same distance from the bottom edge giving that the tape cannot (will not ) "bend " to accomodate this ?
I understand your question ... the trunk lid does have a bow in it as you mention, thus making it for the most part impossible to apply them while the letters are attached to the tape ... I'm not saying the letters on the lid are in a straight line, but that they are the same distance from the bottom edge while following the curve of the lid ... looking at the word CROSSFIRE across the back of the trunk lid, the word CROSSFIRE has a bow to it to follow the bow in the trunk lid ... hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. your reply does help, I suspect that i will have to just apply the letters and hope for the best.
