1:43 Scale Die cast Xfire Roadster on Ebay
Finally I have found a diecast Xfire Roadster, 1:43 scale. At this time the seller only had 1 available and I bought it right away, $44.95 + S/H. It is Blaze/Inferno Red very well detailed, top actually goes up and down, doors open and wheels turn. I intend on repainting the car to match my "Black Pearl".
yeowza. $45 for a 1:43? i got a 1:18 for $10 from KB toys. i understand mines a coupe and not a vert; it just sounds like a lot. make sure you fit a scaled version of your wheels and other accessories on there.
Mine is a Graphite 1:18 Coupe made by Burago. Since I bought it, I have not seen another graphite for sale. I might regret taking it out of the box.
I guess I still technically do own a Crossfire, even though I can't drive it.

A while ago I did a google search and found nothing for Crossfires in any model type. A new search found a small variety - including a Roadster (in red) but not a whole lot, yet...
The car is made by Norev http://www.norev.com/ and they are based in France. I know it was a bit pricey, but I have been searching for one since I purchased my Xfire in 2004.
I don't know who made it, but my grandson has a 1/18 model of the Crossfire Coupe in blaze red. I had just gotten the car and decided to take a little field trip last spring. We decided that a cruise down to see my daughters would be appropriate. As we pulled up to there place, my grandson started yelling "Grandpa's got my car!" and runs into the house. You can imagine how surprised I was to find my son-in-laws brother had given him the car last Christmas.
They say some things tend to skip a generation - he wanted a red Crossfire, and so did I.

I too just received the NOREV 1:43 XFR, but you say the top goes up and down on yours???!!!
On mine, the tonneau cover seems to be VERY solid and I don't want to scratch it or break it trying to open it up. The workmanship IS very good and I can't wait for a 1:18th version.
Check Ebay...I just bought a plastic RED XFR with a Blond behind the seat. "kidconnection #08423 and marketed by WAL-MART.
It isn't diecast but it's an addition to the mantle (up there with all the RED XFCs).
Those of you with Coupes...there are Black, White, Silver (SSB?), and Red Coupe Diecasts all over. I even saw a GREEN one??? 2006 Color???
Even though I don't have a SSB...I bought the Sharper Image CD/Radio SSB Crossfire.
But there are ONLY TWO XFR models out there... (to my knowledge).

Thanks for the tip. I just purchased the graphite grey roadster, been looking a long time for on in that color. I wish it was a little bigger but for 10.00 I can't complain.

Thanks for the info on the Metallic Gray Roadster on Amazon. Since I have a Metallic Graphite Gray Roadster it is perfect. No I don't expect it to be a great model but since there is not a very good high quality Crossfire Roadster model available this will work well.

Tdanner, I bought one of the $10 roadsters, it is real small, 1/87 scale made by Ricko, reminds me of the size used with model railroads, it does not come with the top. Matchbox or Hot Wheels will eventually come out with one since the car is discontinued.
Blackberry,
The 1:87 is for model railroads, I bought the coupe version and it's now driving down the route 66 that goes through my model railroad.

That's what I thought Rick, model railroad size. Your layout looks great, I must say I have been on parts of Route 66 in the past years. A stop in Grants, NM where the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad ran is a fun town. They have a hotel called the El Rancho where all the movie stars stayed during the days of filming movie westerns. All of their pictures cover the walls of the hotel, it is a true Route 66 landmark.
Over the years, I've managed to cover all of Route 66 - happens when you're in the navy and get transfered. I am modeling the area in Missoui. I went to school in Rolla and was married there on Route 66.
