Default Some aloha spirit for all that are cold :-)

I grew up in Minnesota and spent 11 years in the cold of Germany before the Army finally sent me from Heck (Fort Hood, TX) to Hawaii. In lieu of all of the cold weather everyone has been having and in hopes of getting you ready for spring, I present you:

Really nice pictures. Made my morning. Haven't been there for about 10 years. Maybe time I should go again.

I could have taken more of the beach, etc. but everyone has been talking about bad roads and conditions, so I figured I would get some nice twisties with foliage to get everyone in the right mood.

Great pictures, Aloha! Thanks. Makes me VERY jealous! I've been in Michigan my whole life, and hope to someday spend my last years somewhere warm like you are! You are definitely in paradise!

Nice pictures man. I was there last week; first trip to Hawaii. It was awesome! I recognize some of the pictures cuz I took ones of the exact same stuff. Good times. I wish I could have had my Crossfire out there though. Driving my rented Impala around just didn't have the same feeling...

This brings up a good point. If any of you are coming to Hawaii, hit me up and I can set you up with some off the beaten path sites. On my old VW site, we have plenty of things to see do. If you ride a motorcycle, I strongly recommend you rent one the sites, sounds, and smells are different on anything that is open. Glad you guys enjoyed. I am sorry that you had to rent an Impala too...sheesh!!

Jess, that's a very generous offer, I hope I can take you up on it some day.
I haven't been there in over 33 years and I would love to see Hawaii again.
You're absolutely correct, by motorcycle, it's a totally different experience.
There is just one problem, if I come over, I know I wouldn't want to leave.

Jess, I was there Christmas time for my 4th time but didn't make it to Oahu. I did finally have the chance to drive the road to Hana. For anyone that hasn't driven it its the drive of a lifetime. A 36 mile amusement park ride that takes a full day to do roundtrip. 600+ turns each way plus one lane bridges and waterfalls. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Hawaii is truly the most beautiful place on earth.
