Hey BOBS: gimme a break, I've been bump starting the car for the past two years... You mean there's a starter ? Darn, my girlfriend is going to be happy about this, she won't have to push it anymore...

Yep! And she probably won't need to wear those Nomex boots & full face helmet when you guys go out anymore either!

I noticed it also on mine a while back. How bad is it going to fry the battery, wiring and starter when one fails to start?

it happened when my mercedes' fuel pump went bad the car was auto cranking and it wouldn't stop i had to pull the key out forcibly or i would've fried either the starter or killed the battery.
