I know it's late but I would like to be added to the list. Has anyone made a belt cover for the front that fits when you take the plastic shield off?

I realize this is somewhat late, but add me to the list for the "Handcrafted Plate" for the SRT6. A coworker with a MB AMG convertible is harassing me about no plate, insinuating its not a product of Germany. Need a visual to prove the point to match the point on his head!

Dennis TM

I am supposed to get the first batch this week. I really want to see how heat will affect them (you know how hot the SRT engine bay gets). That is one of the key reasons why I haven't asked for payment. Right now it is all coming out of my pocket.

I will keep you all posted.

Thumbs up Re: "Handcrafted" plate for SRT6 Supercharger

I'm 100% in! Just let know whenever is available plz, by the way, in my case don't even worry about running tests (heat+adhesive) 'cause I'll apply in other surface then my engine. Thanx

Cheers,
Alex

Well, the plate has been on the engine for a few days now, and I've not
seen any indication that it might fall off. Was in the shop for a double
wrench service interval this morning. The tech noticed the plate and
commented about it to the service manager who asked me where I had
gotten it. The both seemed to feel it added nice touch to the top of the
engine.

You didn't say "....don't all SRT6s come with them?..." LOL

I am glad you are happy with the plate. Have you moded your belt cover so it can be seen easily without taking it off?

Nah. I had thought about making some quippy reply should the question be
asked, but when presented the opportunity I failed to take advantage. And,
yes. I guess you could say I've mod'd the belt cover. I haven't put it back on
since installed the plate. I think things look better that way, so I may not
ever re-install the belt cover.
