Default Ran my SRT-6 on the Gtech :)

It was about 65 and sunny outside and I had just got done washing/waxing it and figured I'd go try the Gtech for the first time on the SRT-6.

So I took it out to some of our country roads in the corn fields and ran it...!
I did four runs, two with the Gtech Pro and two with my Beltronics Vector Pro (same as Gtech but much nicer with more features).

Run one was a 12.9 @ 112 mph w/ 1.9 sec 60 ft and 4.70 sec 0-60 mph.
Run two was a 13.0 @ 110 mph w/ 2.0 sec 60 ft and 4.75 sec 0-60 mph.

Then I pulled off the road and switched to the Beltronics and ran it again...

Run one was a 12.9 @ 110 mph w/ 1.97 sec 60 ft and 4.67 sec 0-60 mph.
Run two was a 13.0 @ 109 mph w/ 2.08 sec 60 ft and 4.72 sec 0-60 mph.

So, I'd say they are probably pretty close to being right.
I did spin the tires a little each time on the take off, which was very hard not to do, even when leaving at idle like I was doing.
Now I just need to take it to the track to back up the times, I have a good feeling I will, because traction is usually better at the track compared to the street.

I've used the Gtech on my previous SRT-4 when I had just a few mods on it, and it showed me running 13.7 @ 105 w/ 2.2 sec 60 ft times...the very next day, I took it to the track and was running 13.45 - 13.6's all day.

So we shall see what happens with the SRT-6 at the track, because I know it hooks up better then any car I've ever owned on the street.

Thought I'd take some pics while it was nice and clean.
There is more in my gallery of the engine and stereo system too...

looks great... love the lowered ride height.

i do think a small (10mm) wheel spacer up front would look nice.

+1 on that! How do you like the Eibach's? What kind of drop did you install on the car?

I like the Eibachs, rides about the same as the stock SRT-6 (stiff). lol.
Its just lowered whatever the Eibachs come as. It came down about 1 1/4" or so.

The spacers would be nice, but one reason why the wheel is in the way it is...is because the camber is off due to the drop.

Notice how the rear wheels are out flush and almost straight up, I installed aftermarket adjustable camber arms on the rear.

I think Black SRT-6's look awesome. I have Eibach's on my Trans-am, not sure if I want to put them on my SRT-6. But, you say it rides about the same. What is the effect on cornering, any difference?

Looks great!

You should come out with us to the track sometime.

I thought you had the best looking SRT-4 out of everyone's and know I think the same thing about your SRT-6.

Props.

Your car looks awesome. BTW, I just finished reading 40 somewhat pages on a thread about Sprint Booster. I don't know how I totally missed it for 3 months...
Do you have a reading before and after Sprint Booster for your 1/4 or 0-60? Were there any differences on actual time?

ws6vert...
I think it corners a little better then stock, probably because of the lower center gravity, but its not a huge difference.
It just looks cooler for the most part.

Jenky...
I got the adjustable camber arms off ebay. They are made for Mercedes cars. They are not easy to install because they come with standard size rod ends, and the car has metric bolt holes. I guess no one sells metric rod ends.
So I had to slightly drill out the metric holes in order to use standard size bolts. Not too big of a deal, it was just very hard to get at with a drill.

Bullseye...
Thanks for the props,
Actually I might be going to Byron this weekend, we'll see.

Porterhouse...
All the Sprint Booster really does is make the gas pedal much more sensitive.
So in reality, it doesn't make the car faster because it doesn't make hp.
It does feel faster though, because you barely push the pedal and you take off spinning the tires if your not careful!
