What is my car worth? The SRT6 Vert
I've put the RennTech pulley's and ECU on it. It has the mopar wind diffuser and emblems shaved off the rear. The car is perfect, no dents or dings. One hairline scratch that was there when I got it. It only has around 5k miles on it.
I'm just looking for something different. I have a bad habit of heavily modding cars and this one just isn't doing it for me. I can't really do much else to it. Time to move onto something else.
What do you guys think it is worth with the various mods on it?

Ditto...32 to 34k. I don't thing you can recover the cost of the mods. Unless you can find that rare person who knows what they are. It may even scare some people away.
I need to shorten the collection by one. Otherwise I have to keep at least one car outside and I don't like that. I need to find someone with a viper that wants to trade for this and my demon. Those are the two cars I could probably part with without issue.
I may be impartial but I would keep the SRT6.
I would look at something else in your collection
to sell... I thought I read they built less than 1,000
SRT6 Roadsters. In 10 yrs, there can be some value
there. Looking at your list of vehicles. The SRT6 is
one of the best ALL around vehicles. Speed, torque
and handling. Unique styling. That is why you bought
it in the first place. My opinion!!

expect to get around fair kelly book price on trade in. the chryler stealership has a new one sitting on his lot almost 2 years. black vert srt. he said he hopes he never sees another one... also i over heard the owner say to his sales staff not to take any dodge chargers in on trade... what's up with that? :confused
I think the market is flooded with Dodge Chargers.
I'd keep the SRT-6 also. I've already decided to hold onto mine and see what a rare bird it will become, especially since it already is rare!

It isn't about money per se, I'm just bored with the car. A high 12 second car isn't fast to me. That is pretty much the limit of this car. The old cars all have various value to me, way more than this car. The durango I have to keep for function, need something to haul people in. The magnum has a lot of aftermarket support and plan on playing with it in about another year. The truck I'll eventually sell, but not for a couple of months.
I'm going to put it on ebay tonight and list it for sale here in the f/s section. Someone buy it off of me.

Ok, you're going to put enough nitrous to this car to take 1.8 seconds off the 1/4 mile? I'm not sure which part would go flying out first. Maybe we could bet which ringland would give first. Assuming the motor would stay together (it wouldn't), something in the driveline is going to give. It takes quite a bit of power to get into the 10's.
I personally hate nitrous. I like setups that make lots of power and stay together.

My65cuda, What about per driving pleasure.
You don't own a car that is the total package
like the SRT. I think you need to test drive
a Honda S2000 or 350Z to understand the XF is the
TOTAL PACKAGE.. I felt the same way, thought
I needed something faster, something different.
I'm over it now...

For you this car may be the total package, I hardly think it is. It's a good car for what it is, but for me a "total" package car needs to run faster than high 12's in the quarter mile. I put more emphasis on going fast than most. To you, going high 12's might seem fast, to me, it's a crawl. If you've never been in the 11's/10's/9's in the 1/4 mile, you can't understand. That is why I have so many different cars. Each one means something different to me. They all have their use. To me, the most complete car I know of is an CL65 AMG. Massive power, extreme comfort and great lines. When I sell my truck, I might get one. Once I've exhausted a cars ability, within reason, it's time to move on. Once I run my truck next week and play with it for another 2-3 weeks, I'll be ready to move on. I'll keep it if I don't sell it for enough, but I will be looking to move it.
You're right! We all have different tastes.
I like driving through the mountains, taking corners
designated at 35 mph, at 70 mph.
I would like to see your collection some day.
I would have a greater understanding.
Cuda, are you in Cali??

I'm 2 hours away from the mountains
. I don't get around the twisties much. I'll do that in a few years. I'm in NC, about as far on the other side of the planet as you can get. I just love old cars, they all mean so much in so many different ways. Driving a car from 1950, with primitive technology, is a real treat. Lets you realize how far we've come. That is likely my issue, new cars have no value to me. No history.
Just my humble opinion, but you have multiple straight line speedsters
in your stable, but this appears to be the only road racer you have. I'd
keep it for the balance it adds to the collection. You want more power
out of the car? Pull the 3.2 and drop in an AMG 55 motor, or perhaps
that 6.1 hemi (mounts to the same tranny in the SRT-8 Charger). Of
course, you are free to choose your own path, but this is the way I would
go.

It looks like I'll be getting a '98 gts viper. I might try the twisties with that.
Until you've taken a curve in a '63 station wagon, you don't know what you're missing haha.
