This afternoon I will check this out at the local Chrysler dealer. Today's newspaper add says that they have (2) 2006 Crossfire SRT-6 coupes. A saphire blue, the other is graphite. $26,999. I'll check out the mileage. I was told by several Chrysler dealers this last October that they would be getting 2006 factory executive cars in December. I did not wait, I wanted a roadster. Figured that since there are no '06 SRT6s made, only '05s...

 

Actually there were a few 2006's that were factory exec. cars in the US the rest were in England and Europe. I was told by a Chrysler dealer that he saw 2 of them at the car auction. The SRT-6 badge that we have on the trunk lid is on the front fender. Also a couple of different colors. I was told a couple of months ago that a few of the 06's might be available. Sounds like there are so few on these shores we will not see them.

Has anyone else seen a 2006 SRT-6???

 

I have just purchased an '06 registered one, but don't know the difference between an '06 and an '05, so it could just be an '05 that has been sitting in a car yard for a year.

 

Check out you're VIN number the 10th digit (number) will either be a 4, 5 or 6. Mine is a 5 that means it's a 2005. If you do a google search for CROSSFIRE VIN DECODE, you can check for yourself.

Find me a new SRT-6 Roadster an I'll add it to my 401K. The one I have should do great even if I drive it once in a while. But if I can get a new one I will park it for the next 20 years.

 

The dealership where I got my crossfire has sold 3 2006 limited crossfires and they have the brochures for the 2006 models and they show the SRT in there model selection.

 

I went to a dealer in White Bear Lake Minnesota yesterday. This is a suburb of Minneapolis. They just received a 2005 Black SRT-6 ROADSTER. They did not have a price yet! The only question I asked was how many miles it had on it. He told me 2,000 miles. It looked perfect! But I did not really check it out more that that. The salesman gave me his card and here is the info. I have never met this guy before so I have no idea what he would be like to deal with.

Just make them what you think is a fair offer. Don't show too much interest. Here's an SRT6 coupe on e-bay in Wisconsin. I think this is the average price out there. I've seen SRT roadsters for about the same price, new, but can go as much as mid 30s.
