MB includes a nice touch on the top of the supercharger on their SLK AMG cars. They include a nicely engraved plaque signifying the special significance of these hand built high output engines. On the SRT6 we get the engine but unfortunately all DCX decided we get is a blank space on top of the supercharger.

I have tried to correct this with an engraved aluminum plate that affixes to the top of the supercharger on the blank area that there would be a plate if our cars carried the MB logo. I also created a satin finish Crossfire plate for the interior for all Crossfires.



The plates are $20.50 ea or both for $39 including S&H.

FORUM SPECIAL>>> If you look closely at the plaque on the supercharger, you will notice two holes on each side. They serve no purpose, but don't hurt either. I still have a few of these. If you want that style (I have some without the holes as well), you can get both SRT6/AMG engine plaque and dash plaque for $32 including S&H. I have a limited number of the plaques with holes left. When they are gone only the plates with no holes at the regular price will be left. First come, first served.

JB Weld has been the best solution. No problem handling the heat. Once affixed it is permanent. I have had mine attached for over six months including some spirited runs at the track and it is still rock solid.The Key is to let it set up and cure for about 15 hours (their recommendation).

Here is an enlarged view of the mockup for the plaques (the real thing looks even better). The images are not actual size. the Crossfire plaque is rectangular and the SRT plaque is square to fit on the blank area of the supercharger. The Crossfire plaque actually has a slightly brass tinge to it. It has a smooth satin finish and comes with 3M auto self-adhesive tape on the back. The space between the car and text is to allow you to have your name, VIN or comment engraved if you wish (you would do that locally if you wish).



The SRT6 engine plaque is a very high grade brushed aluminum engraved with high temp paint filling the engraving. These are class items that complement the car. The image shows two holes. They serve no purpose, but cause no harm. I am offering a special if you buy both and specify the SRT6 plaque with holes, the price for both is $32 including shipping. But I only have 3 left.



The regular price is $18.50 ea plus $2.00 S&H. This is the price for the SRT plaque with no holes.

Over 60 forum members have bought plaques. If any have pictures and would like to post, please do. There have been a number of different locations in the car for their placement. Both look like they originally came with the car.

Check post #8 in this string...These are mockups. The Crossfire plaque has a slight brass tinge and actually looks better that the mockup. It has a smooth satin/glossy finish. The image is of the original concept car from which all production models are derived. There is room if you want to have it custom engraved with your VIN or name. Several others have done this.
