I have had a mysterious "rattle" in the hatch as many have reported. I break it down into two categories. One is probably caused by the metal latch holding the hatch closed. The other one sounds more like a creaking sound.

While wiping the bumper I applied pressure to the wing as I bent down...Creeaakk. I was able to duplicate the sound almost every time by just pushing down on the trailing edge of the wing. For some reason it does it more on the driver's (left in the US) side than the passenger side.

Not sure what the fix would be for this. Has anyone else noticed this?

I thought it might be that, but the noise is actually coming from the wing itself.

 

No hinge points... it's an SRT6 right? Fixed wing. It's probably a mounting bolt or other fastener coming loose slightly... go through the service manual and see how to disassemble the area and check the fasteners.

yep... i was referring to a limited/base crossfire wing.
