just ordered an air filter from the local parts store (because of course NONE of the dealers carry parts for Crossfires!) for about $22 (not K&N, just replacement filters). do they come two to a box ? the parts guy of course didn't know and was telling me to order two boxes. $44 seems like a lot for replacement filters (Purolater A55444).

 

Umm. Are they Mercedes Benzs Filters, or generic brand? you really should of went with the K&N's. Can get them $30 each. I paid $60 and free shipping.

 

the car is a lease. i could care less about performance increases at this point ( the car goes back in 3 mths). i just happened to check last week while doing an oil change and the filters were filthy. if i were going to keep the car though, your suggestion would be a good one.

 

I think i read somewhere that the filters comes in packs of 2, but not the K&N's. But $22 for MB parts is cheap, so it might only be one, but then again its almost the same as K&N's. I'd say it depends on the brand, if you ordered the stock MB filters they should come in pack of 2.

 

The part stores online show two filters for around $25 and they are mann.

 

WIX 46875 - there are (2) Mann filters in the box. $12 and change from rockauto.com

 

Do these filters work for the SRT-6?
