Another funny Crossfire story, some people need to get a clue
I'm no expert when it comes to cars, but I don't need to make up stuff when I don't know something. I will just research it later. It always kills me when I talk with someone about my own car and they think they know more about it than me.
So I went to a local stereo shop today to get a dvd player and receiver installed in my SRT6. I was talking to the guy who was going to do the install. I let him know that the receiver unit would not fit under or behind the passenger seat. I showed him how the seat, even when it goes all the way back, the motor will still run and push it into the back wall. I say "yah, they should have made it stop at a certain point". And he says "Well, its a Chrysler, they just threw these things together." I just looked at him puzzled and said, "Actually this car is made in germany by mercedes with mercedes parts. The engine is hand built by AMG." He says, "Oh no, (His eyes get wide, he gets real close, and begins to talk real soft and quiet, like he is letting me in on a secret) In Germany they have a supercharger you can put in this, REAL FAST" (he is shaking his head up and down as he says, REAL FAST). Right then I just started laughing and told im, "It already has a supercharger, factory, stock, its already REALLY REALLY FAST". I think he realized then he didn't know what he was talking about and gets all excited while looking at the car. He says, "Oh yeah? wow, what year is this? I tell him '05, and that they only come in '05. "I thought they were just gonna supe up the SRT6 I didn't think they were gonna put a supercharger in it." Now he shakes his read reassuringly and points at his car. That's my Subaru forester over there, it has the same engine as the wrx sti, its real fast. I just shook my head and agreed.

He got the keys stuck into the slots and didn't even bother to tell me. I did it before and you just have to push the little clamps in to get them out, so its no big deal. But still...
