supercharger whine
I bought the Code 3 intake. The SC whine is loud; however, I quickly took it off because the filter doesn't look like it does much. I'll sell it to you for a major discount. Used for 10 miles.
The stock intake is the main reason for our quiet s/c. Get an aftermarket wide-open intake, like the needswings, and it whines loud. Add the smaller s/c pulley and it whines more.
Youtube the srt-6, many of those vids have heavy whine due to these mods.

I changed my intake very quickly on my SRT and really never got a good look at it. Recently I opened the box it's in and noticed the inside just short of the air boxes has baffles in it to reduce the sound. Without spending any money one could increase the S/C whine by simply (patience is needed) cutting out the factory baffles on the factory air box.
If you could find a very thin nylon tube with an O.D, the same as the I.D. of the intake you could just slip it in covering up the muffling holes in the baffle. Nylite tubing is less than 1/16" thick so it actually wouldn't even reduce your intake volume.
Just felt in the mood to type.
