I'm not sure how to create a new post!! so I'll ask my question here hopefully some one can help me out!
I have a 2005 crossfire convertible and I'm looking to buy a srt6 supercharger and I found one but my question is will it just bolt on to my engine or will I have to do more mods?

Thank You

I own a 1993 Twin Turbo RX7 and I will say the following. The 13B rotories in stock form only have 217ftlb of torque. So drag racing these cars unless they are heavily modified is a sure loser. The cars really shine when the twisties approach, with a 50/50 weight distribution and a 2800 lb car, I can state that these cars handle better than most cars costing 3 times as much. My SRT6 is a wonderful car but you can definately tell the SRT6 is 400+ pounds heavier. With that said both cars are unique and that is why I own them.

The fix for the snow is that I own a '05 XT sub wagon ......slightly modded of course 330hp and fun. But not as fun as my xfire. ('04 w/ '05 srt6 drivetrain)

There are so many reasons the "bolt on s/c" will not work I can't address them all. Electronics and mechanical etc....... Just buy a srt6 or swap out the drive train of the srt6 and modules. I don't think the amount of work involved would justify the bolt on s/c.

The biggest issue besides the ECM is going to be the fact that the lower engine is not designed tough enough to withstand a super charger. The mains and such are VERY different on the SRT6.

As mentioned, get an SRT6 or swap out for an SRT6 drive line.
