Smaller Rear Spoiler for SRT-6
for some reason that picture looks photoshop to me and what I am saying is not that the spoiler has never been built, but the 6.1 placed in the crossfire...
Here's a quote from the news: http://www.supercars.net/cars/3048.html
"The high speeds attained by the STARTECH Coupe V8 6.1 necessitate optimum aerodynamic efficiency. To reduce lift on the front axle and to give the coupe even more passing prestige STARTECH designers and aerodynamics engineers developed a front spoiler attached to the stock bumper.
The STARTECH side sills provide an optimal aerodynamic transition between the front and rear wheelhouses.
Lift on the rear axle is minimized by the STARTECH diffuser inserts for the stock rear bumper, a STARTECH roof spoiler and the STARTECH rear spoiler, which deploys together with the stock rear spoiler. "
But the whole argument here is: Why can't we have a better looking rear wing than stock?

I guess what this thread boils down to is:
If you like the spoiler, leave it be.
If you don't like it, REPLACE it, or maybe you should downgrade to a LTD or base model.
That's just my .2.

This is all about preference...to each it's own. We have the tail haters and the tail lovers but that doesn't mean we don't have any choice at all anymore that's why we're stuck with this huge wing.
What attracted me (and probably other first generation of Crossfire Limited fans in 2003) when I first saw the Crossfire in 2003 is the unique styling and classic beauty of the Crossfire...Love at first sight! The SRT-6 came out later and to my dismay, they distorted the very design I love in this car which is the flowing lines and the boat tail. If the SRT-6 came out first in 2003, I wonder about how we could have looked at the Crossfire.
Now, why did I bought the SRT-6? First, it's the quest for power and second, the price. Now, if we can find another wing that can refine the looks better than our stock wing, why not? It's like changing the grills and lowering the car...purely aesthetics and we all love it!
Now, does anybody here have any ideas?

I am sure you have thought of it before, but it is very likely possible to fit the wing of the N/A crossfire although, not without some intensive work... The hardest part would probably be making it deploy... and having it deploy at the right time... if you do not want that you can probably just fit the N/A wing without having it deploy... ever... probably without much trouble... regardless the path you choose all seam rather difficult and inconvenient... unfortunately there is just so little aftermarket and fitting a new functional custom wing is not going to be cheap.
For those who do not like the SRT6 wing, take a look at the new 2008 Porsche 911 GT2:

Here are some specs for the car:
* 3.6-liter twin turbo flat six
* 530 horsepower at 5,600 rpm
* 505 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,200 to 4,500 rpm
* 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds
* 0-100 mph in 7.1 seconds
* Top speed of 204 mph
* Curb weight:: 3,175 lbs
* Titanium exhaust
* 6-speed manual gearbox
* Launch control system
Certainly can't argue with any of that!

Cyril, this is a poor photoshop effort, but I just did a quick and dirty job to see if the concept works. All I did was cut the wing ends and put them back together to shorten the width of the wing. As you can see it will follow the contours of the boat tail much better IMO. If you like the results you should be able to have a shop do this for you. SRTSIX sorry for using a picture of your car for this.
