Re: Newbie Here

Are there basic performance mods that I should know about for the SRT-6, cold air intake, cat back exhaust, etc.?

Those two should get you to 0-60 around 4.1 seconds, aprox 400 hp, 420 lb/ft with a top speed around 185 (check with your tuner for exact specs.). Nothing else will impact performance as much as those two. You have a cold air intake system, AMG exhaust (have you ever owned a $1,400 muffler - you do now), AMG brakes... most other changes will only be cosmetic. #3 Mod Skip Barber driving school (or the like).

Have fun.

Thank you, AMGlover. Is there an aftermarket vendor that sells these things. Does the ECU reprogram allow for overdrive pulleys, or will reprogramming be necessary if pulley's are installed? While I'm at it, the oil and filter has been in this car since manufacture. The car has 500 miles on it and I'm going to change oil and filter now. Anything I should know about oil changes?
