Newbie Here

My first post on this forum.

I've got a 300C SRT-8 and at the SRT Track Experience here in Phoenix this weekend, I had to opportunity to drive a Crossfire SRT-6 coupe. I was very impressed am and now looking for a new SRT-6 for my wife. Looking for a black coupe with navigation if I can find one. I want a new car that has never been titled. I have local dealer doing a network search now.

Is there anything I should know about these cars? Any downside to what appears to be a great little car.

What will I have to pay. My dealer says if he can find one with a sticker in the 42K to 44K area, I should be able to buy for $28,000. Does that sound right?

The long term downside is availability of parts and knowledge of how to use them for proper repairs. As for the price estimate, it's about right for a very low mileage Chrysler executive resale program vehicle (usually well under 1,000 miles) but may be slightly low for a technically untitled car. Check the eBay listings - there was one in Scottsdale just last week. Regardless, it's still the bargain of the century. After you spend more time in it, it may not end up as the wife's car. Good luck.

What crack are you smokin' dude? If you know of any never titled SRT6's for 20k, please let me know!!!

IMO, A great buy for a never titled SRT6 would be right around that 25k - 27k area...You can't go wrong with that price! That is what most seem to selling for these days...

I can't believe I missed the experience in Phx. Was it at Firebird??
I went last year... There is a dealer back east that just picked up
3 or 4 of them. He was selling for about $28K. He picked
them up at a close Chrysler auction. He let us know on the other
forum. crossfirecommunity.net
There is a great dealer in Tempe. They have two crossfire
certified techs...

SRT6 coupes have been going for around 26k lately (with little to no miles).

Thank you for your comments, RPM, can you tell me where I can buy one for $26K. I might even fly in and drive it back.

Thank you for your help, RPM. I kind of avoided EBAY as I was looking for an MSO car that was never titled. The first one is exactly what I am looking for but in NC. My local dealer is looking for this car somewhere in the Southwest. If he can't find, will follow up with dealer in NC. Thanks again.

It is done. My grandson and I are driving out in the morning to pick it up. Dealer made me an offer on my SRT-8 sight unseen. No way, we plan on keeping both SRT's. I qualify for another SRT Track Experience besides.

Thanks for the info. I bought my SRT6 about three months ago and have already put 3K miles on it. It is the 4th car in a two driver family and is only supposed to be driven once is awhile. It is too fun to drive. :D No issues to worry about taking to the dealer so far. I am glad to have a recommendation now just in case.
