Default Oil Filter Question

What is the best oil filter to use on my SRT-6 Roadster? Is K&N the best choice? Thanks.

MANN fleece filter.

When you buy the MANN filter fleece is an adjective, not a verb.

Cheap way to get the Mann fleece filter:

WIX P/N 57078 is the MANN fleece filter with a fresh set of O-Rings.

They are just $10.96 (Plus shipping) from Rock Auto.

I have no affiliation with Rock Auto, I am simply a satisfied multiple-repeat customer of theirs. In fact, I first learned about Rock Auto from this forum.

After my last order with them I got emailed a coupon code that can be used by anyone (at least until it expires).

Use this coupon/discount code to get 5% off Rock Auto's list prices

735937646360

(The following came in the email with the discount code).
Here's how to use it:

* Enter your code in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart.

* If you are using our traditional HTML catalog, please click the "Set" button to the right of the field.

* Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.

**NOTE: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.**

The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices, and there's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next
order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.
This discount code expires on October 2, 2007.

I have a question about the oil itself. I work for Valvoline Instant Oil Change. We carry the filter it might need ordered at some stores but we stock it at my store, but our computer calls for 0w40 syn. can I use a 5w40 syn? What oils are you guys using for your x'fer.

I don't have one yet but Im thinkin of getting one. I'm just lurking around here and other sites to see the pros and cons of the car. I like to do my homework on everything I buy.
