Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Just found this on...
http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/resu...ID=3677&hpLB=y And though it was pretty cool. The SRT-6 has a wt/hp ratio of 9.45. Here's a list of other cars with close wt/hp ratios. It's a pretty good crowd we're running with. :) 2007 Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard 2006 Porsche 911 2005 Bentley Continental 2005 Maserati GranSport Coupe 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 2005 Porsche 911 2004 Jaguar XJ Series 2003 BMW M3 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT Mystichrome 2002 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa 2001 Jaguar S-Type Supersport 2001 Jaguar XKR-R 2000 Chevrolet Avelate Corvette C5 Roadster 1998 BMW M5 E39 1998 Chevrolet Corvette C5 1972 Italia Spyder 1971 Italia Spyder 1969 Italia Spyder 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/NART |
Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Something is screwy with that list. I'd never heard of the Isuzu Ascender so I looked it up - it's a 4,400 LB SUV with a 285 HP V6. I didn't bother doing the math, but I guarantee it ain't even close to an SRT6 let alone to a non S/C Crossfire.

Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Interesting list. Glad to see the exotic Isuzu Ascender on the list as well. Everyone knows about its legendary performance...NOT ! :D LMAO.

Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
I thought maybe the Suzuki was a sportbike thrown in for Sh*ts and giggles.

Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Isuzu ascender??? Sounds like a mountain goat!
Glad I don't have a srt-6...I know my limited walks all over EVERY Isuzu ever made! :D |
Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Sorry Fellas, but I didn't even see the Ascender on the list. I was still ogling the other names like Porsche, Mercedes, Maserati, Bentley, Jaguar, and Ferrari. Pretty lofty company. :)

Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
The Ascender was also available with a 5.3l V8, but even that wouldn't even come close to the SRT. BTW The Isuzu Ascender is a rebadged Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy/Buick Rainier, there is also a Saab 9-7 version of this GM SUV.

Re: Similar Weight to HP Ratio
Who ever came up with that list is mentally broken. The Ascender... Never mind, not even going to go there. I would have to guess that is a typo. Even if it was the short wheelbase 4x2 and you dropped the 6.0L 400 HP engine out of a Trailblazer SS, it still wouldn't be put so close...
Another example of how accurate this site isn't. Look and see if you see the wrong info. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z...G/default.aspx |
