Horsepower per dollar $$
Tomorrow will be one week since taking delivery of my SRT and I absolutely love it. As is the same with just about any high output motor - Once you pass 300 hp the bang for the buck starts to cost more and more. 30-35/per horsepower is a "decent and average deal"
Up to about to about 300 horses - $20 per horsepower is about what you can get away with but get past 300 and it's going to start costing more and more - and the SRT already comes with 330 hp. Hell take a look at what even the K & N stock replacement filters will cost... $70 for what 5 hp? And that mod on just about any other car is a decent deal.
Also on a side note anything less than a 12 horsepower gain will not really be noticeable.
Has anyone dynoed a stock SRT for baseline values?

I will be dyno'ing my SRT soon. It has the K&N Filters and Sprint Booster, but I think I am going to remove both of them prior to doing a dyno run.
