Being a former Corvette guy I have to say, "Sweeet!"

I've already sat through some of his lessons here... And now to find out he doesn't own the car after statements like this

It just fascinates me... This type of thing is not worth getting pissed about it just makes me chuckle and wonder how this guy can still hang around this forum...

There are many new members here that are making claims that are completely harmless, but others who have been here before and made claims and promises and others who have ripped-off members by not providing what was paid for... Yet, there are others who really have both product and knowledge to offer....

Even the founder / owner of this website held a contest in 2005, that guaranteed a $1,000 prize and to my knowledge, he never delivered it to the winner...

So, if I seem harsh sometimes, I do it out of respect for the upstanding, respectuful members of this forum and my perceived responsibilty as a moderator to safeguard them from scams and false claims...

Trust me, he was taking it easy... I spoke with him in the paddock afterwards to apologize for holding him up on the track... To make a long story short, it's a pro car and one of the mechanics was doing some tests... And the damn this was putting 600+ HP to the ground...

I took an Exige on the way home tonight. I Crept up on it and then just blew by.

As I was passing I stole a look at the driver for a reaction, but she had the cell phone to her head and was looking in her rear view mirror while applying lipstick.

Boy - did I feel like "Speed Racer"

The Lotus Exige seems like an odd choice of vehicle for the kind of driver that would apply lipstick and talk on a cellphone while driving. I always pictured the Exige as a "driver's car" and she certainly doesn't sound like she was interested in driving.

Right, my mistake.. I'm sorry I don't own a crossfire yet, and I do plan on owning one, because I don't want a car that was dsigned specifically for a race track (like the Lotus)..
I'd also like to appologize for my lack of knowledge when it comes to things like gravitational shift and trying to get as much weight on the contact patch of the tire that's doing the most work in a turn..
I know it's absurd to think that heal toe shifting is something that a driver would even attempt, because it would .... what.. slow you down I suppose? .. I'm sure that getting the weight to shift to that tire won't get your car to turn in harder while riding the brake slightly and the gas a the same time.. ..
I also have never heard of this being done before my rediculous mention of it on this forum..
The fact that Skip Barber teaches such non-sense at his schools tells me the guy shouldn't be allowed to teach, I agree ..
I am sorry I made this up... I certainly got 0 hits when I did a search for "trail braking" on google..
http://virtualracersedge.com/trail_braking.htm

I suppose I'm not worthy of respect because I don't own a crossfire yet. I suck, it's true, I just can't afford to get a Crossfire after the birth of my 2nd child, my wifes need for a new Mini-van, and my need for a reliable car to get me back and forth to work. As a result anything I put down in this forum should be completely disregaurded I guess.

I joined the site seeking knowledge about Crossfires. Mods, problems, pros/cons from the mouths of the owners of the cars. I, unfortunately and grouped with people who lie and steal from fellow forum members because I don't own a Crossfire, but have heard of trail braking and I believe a car that was built for racing can be a sport touring car....
