Default Luggage

What exactly is the method for getting the free luggage? I have an SRT6 that was just recenlty titled. The dealer never got the luggage. Is there some paperwork in the glovebox or what? Any help is appreciated.

Do a search for it. I know there is a fairly recent thread that has a phone number and name of a contact at the supplier that will be able to sort it out for you.

Here's the info I found:

So I called TRG, a fulfillment house that coordinates the luggage for DCX. Gerry Clawson (314-692-0717 ) is the only person at TRG with whom you should ever talk about Xfire luggage. She receives a report every Tuesday listing the sold cars eligible for the luggage and the new owner's addresses. She then sends them the bags. If you ain't on the list, you ain't gettin' the luggage."

My Best!
Bill

If you purchased one that had been auctioned off by Chyrsler you won't qualify for the luggage.

314-692-0717 is the correct number. I apologize. I had originally posted the area code as 324.

Otherwise all the other info is correct

That's some good detective work SilverFox.... You should be on the CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) show. Dig up those numbers and call the fulfillment person yourself to get the scivvy on the matter.

I guess the free luggage was a US only promo

Anyone know if it applied Europe/UK?

I agree if the car was sold as a wholesale car you will not get the luggage. Mine came with a certificate of origine, (never titled) stamped "USED". I fought with both the luggage place and Chrysler and came up empty handed. I ended up getting mine off of e-bay.

The luggage place will sell you a set for $600.00

When I bought my Roadster (new), the luggage just showed up at my house a couple weeks later. I did not even realize it was part of the deal. I rarely use it because the airlines beat them up so much, but when I travel surface I use them.

Must be a new car, never titled, never wholesaled, etc.

I read somewhere on the forum a couple of days ago that if your car was originally eligible for the luggage and the first owner never claimed it, there may be some chance you could still get the luggage. Any truth behind this?

Also, supposedly, according to the bitchy lady i talked to about my luggage, you need to have 0 miles on your car when you bought it. Even if it has never been titled wholesaled or anything like that. I had 190 miles on it when i bought it and she gave me crap about it and said I'd have to check with my salesperson on how they put the car into the system. I dont know maybe it was my dealership's fault and maybe she was just doing her job but I'm still stuck without any luggage .
