Good for you.... I kept my stage3 SRT-4 and got an SRT-6 next to it in the garage. So I can choose from torque steer and wheelspin to tail's out drifting. I think Dodge and Chrysler are lacking now in the afforadable performance realm now that they don't make either vehicle anymore. Until the Challenger SRT-8 is out or maybe the turbo-charged Demon in a few years, it will be slim pickens on smaller sized performance vehicles (Not that the Challenger is small).

NeverEnough and cudaman, we must have similar tastes. I didn't really want to trade in the Neon, but I couldn't justify having two daily drivers. I have had the Neon for over 4 years and its a very fun car, just looking to get into something else now. I think I'll miss driving a stick everyday (except while sitting in traffic), but I think overall the rest of the car will make up for it. I really would like a SRT Demon and an SRT Challenger, but I doubt the SRT Demon will be out any sooner than 3 years from now and the 6-speed 6.4L Challenger won't get good enough gas mileage for me to drive daily. It wouldn't surprise me if I drive this for a few years and then trade for a SRT Demon, should be a potent little car.

well, I haven't "owned" a Viper, but I am the periodic caretaker of an '06 GTS. I've put twice the miles on it as the owner. I love driving it because it is SO RAW AND BRUTAL(the attention doesn't hurt either), but after being in it for 2 hours, I need out. I love the way it vibrates adn cams like an old bigblock Hemi. It is just so urgent. It sounds PISSED OFF when it isn't moving. I LOVE IT! It's a good situation, cause All I have to pay for is Gas. No Insurance, no $1,500 payments. It's sitting in the parking garage next to the Crossy right now. Overall, I still like the SRT-6 better. The difference in performance is minimal enough that I still get the grin when I hit a corner or floor the SRT-6. And the SRT-6 is way more refined and comfortable. Give me till spring and it will be nearly as fast as the Viper anyway.

Oh, and I've had 2 SRT-4s previous to the Crossfire. Are you familiar with Darrell *** Racing(DCR), The "Red Sled", those guys are friends of mine and I think they are still mad that I got rid of the Commemorative Edition Neon.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of the Viper, well maybe to get a different one someday, but IMO the looks of the Gen2 can't be beat.

The SRT-6s and Vipers definitely serve two different purposes, I wouldn't want to daily drive the Viper just because of the amount of gas it would take, but I have never had issues with being comfortable in it for drives that last more than a few hours.

Its official, I am now an SRT-6 owner. Drove about an 11 hour round trip today and traded in my SRT-4 on the Crossfire. I'll miss the SRT-4, but I got a pretty good deal IMO and I think its definitely worth it. After the drive home it has just over 1K miles on it!

240M3SRT, these are some nice Christmas presents we got ourselves, huh? Mine had about 600 when I picked it up, but it was a very fun trip home (just over 400 miles). I think I'm going to buy an extended warranty for it (I usually get one with every car I buy), but I still have over 2 years left on the factory warranty (the in service date is the beginning of '07) so I may wait a year or so to buy the extended.

I'm pretty excited. If its warm enough tomorrow I think I'm going to clay bar and wax it!
