That kind of confirms my thoughts, the only other thing I could think of to get just a wee bit more was to seal up the holes in the lower portion of the air boxes and where the intake tube's join them. Then remove the filters from the boxes and go with some cone filters behind the grill, but that might be a lot of work for nothing. BTW good job on the research & write ups.

 

I personally like things to appear stock. But im not willing to give up performance to do so. Form follows function.

 

I think this is one of the better threads on this forum in awhile.It all boils down to what each person is looking for out of their car.I think the price drop on the srt6 has brought in a whole different type of owner.I myself came out of a stage3 srt4.Im ready to mod my car.I really like being able to hear the supercharger whine.And i am also adding the pulley kit to mine.Im not as concerned about the looks under the hood.I was at a car show once with my srt and a couple younger guys mentioned that they couldnt see any of the motor with the cover on it and they hated that.Performance is what it is all about for me.

 

I like the stock look, this way the car is a sleeper. I'm think the SL-55 and K&N's may yield close to the same as needswings based on steve's G-tech numbers.

 

All of the G-tech #'s I've ever posted the launches were done by just flooring it with the TC on and still spinning like hell, I've always done it that way so I'm comparing apples to apples. I think with a sticky track surface and some launch practice I could do a little better.
