The announcer says extrem schlechte ubersicht, which sort of doesn't make sense considering his earlier adjective exceptionalesportlich. But whatever. Auto journalists of any country can't be that bright

 

I agree - nice to watch an SRT6 get tossed around...was this a comparison test? How did the SRT fare in the end (I don't understand German)?

 

Beats me too. All I can tell is that the SRT held its line better than the 350Z, but it also looked to be understeering quite a bit. But those were drama pass-bys for the benefit of the camera. Too much opposite lock and tire abuse on the Nissan for someone really looking to get the best lap time.

 

This particular episode just showed short clips from the Motorvision Trackteile archives. This episode was focused mainly on the Z4 Coupe.

BTW: Motorvision's Track Test Times are Bullshit. German magazine "SPORT AUTO" lists a Hockenheim Short Circuit "best time" comparison between the Z4 3.0i and the SRT6 as follows:

Crossfire SRT-6 : 1:17.4
RoadsterZ4 3.0i : 1:18.1

I trust SPORT AUTO much more than Motorvision that's for sure...
