I know that thing is pretty radical, and the "newest" toy on the block. But its styling is just too "Japanese Industrial" looking for me.
I'd rather show up a 1/2 a second late to the party in a "better lookin" Viper GTS.

I've seen it in person, and it looks alot better than it does in pictures. It still isn't pretty in person, but it's better. I don't like the looks of it either, but I can't take anything else away from it. Just wait till the optional paint becomes available that you can change from white, to black, to red, blue with the touch of a button... I don't know how that is possible, but it's going to be a $4,000 option. It works off some kind of LCD technology I think...
Wow the new Nissan GTblah sure has the numbers. Gee I better race out and buy one - NOT.
I really thought they would have done something a little more imaginative with the styling - but oh no just a boring old "face lift" look - zzzzzzzzzzzzz . Oh well I guess it will appeal to some people out there - but I do not expect it will turn as many heads as my X-fire. Give it a few years and they will be worthless over here - you will pick them up second hand for not too much change compared to the current new price - just another rice burner LOL. Too many gadgets and not enough soul

boring ricer.., but anyways I am happy with it's performance numbers as it will now require the top manufacturers to up thiers... is it just me.. or do Jap cars appear bland and souless.. I mean sure the young group is going to be heavily interested in this car, but that is about it.. thanks Ill keep my crossfire for now and when I can afford to pay 70k for a car it sure as hell won't be a Nissan...

well srt-6 has 340 hp stock they kinda have us out numbered
not hard to figure out
3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that generates at least 473 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque.

I don't think it looks too bad...but I've been known to look for what's inside (that's what counts, right?). 3.3 0-60 is impressive whether it is a Nissan or a Shopping Cart.
Of course, the only part that we'll be seeing is the rear taillights - which are quite R32-esque. I'm glad the kept a few Skyline styling lines on it.

I'd rather have one of used SL55 AMG's in my area for $70K. Much nicer looking and has a little performance(?)
The launch technology on the GTR is interesting.

Launching is a test of tires and drivetrain componants. 40 to 100 is a better measure of power and more useful on everything but a drag strip.
I wonder how the GTR stacks up against a Z06 on a roadcourse.
