bad news: just traded my '04 black xfire...loved it.

good news: traded my '04 black xfire for a 05 srt xfire....loving it more. now i know what all of you have been talking about.

dang, another convert!? i'm sooooo tempted with the prices the way they are, but i've already put a lot of money into my limited and i'm pretty happy with it's performance as of late.

cant give a full report yet. (rain) but i can tell it is going to increase the fun factor just by the way it feels

 

If you'd move the Dragon to Colorado I would come! I like the Carloina's but I'm not sure I want to drive 3K miles.

i know you guys dont like taking yours out in the rain.. but nothing is quite as thrilling is turning off esp on a wet road and hammering it..... wow!

 

I have also made the switch and it is amazing...we need someone with creativity to come up with some kind of "once you go SRT6 you'll never go back" jingle that makes sense and rhymes....

 

Uncle O, congrats, when I was looking for a Crossfire my wife and I took an 05 Limited convertible out and she really liked the car. I took her out in the SRT and the first time I nailed it her words were "Holy S***". That's all it took to bring home the SRT coupe. You will have a lot more fun in the passing lane.

You get used to it, CG! It doesn't degrade the rear window view (not that there is much "view" anyways!), has that nice center line thing going for it & doesn't stick out like some cheap add-on.
When i was looking at the SRT I thought the same thing "I'm not so sure about that wing" & I really liked the retractable spoiler on the Coupe. But the spoiler is only one small part of the car. I'll take the rocket under the hood as a compromise!
For some odd reason I still seemed to get more 'looks' with the Coupe than with the SRT, though.

How many SRT-6 owners who started out with the 6 as their first Crossfire wouldn't mind getting a second NA Crossfire? If I could afford it, and had a place to park it, I'd be all over a red six speed roadster.
