Wrapped CAI
I finally got around to wrapping my intake yesterday. It's wrapped with DEI Header Wrap. I went out last night and ran it a bit harder than usual. I headed south of where I live and it's a very deserted two lane with great visualibility. It pulls so hard, and the pull felt like it was getting stronger as the speed and rpm increased. I'm looking forward to running it beside a stock SRT-6 and maybe a Needswing SRT-6 next Saturday. We'll be on a 1/2 mile banked oval track, so we should be able to see who can pull away from who, somewhat safely.
Nice Toy!! - Keep up the good work...These cars were made for dual intakes....
In the constant heat that we drive in, it has to help. All the under hood heat is hurting our performance. It'll help the air flowing thru to stay a bit cooler. It was worth the $50 to me. I also like the less "blingy look" that the wrap gives. All business!!
