Trying to buy a 2005 srt-6, confused on colors
Everywhere i check says there is only one color gray (graphite gray) but when i see the photos of them they appear to be different colors. are the photos below all the same color? is it just the way the light is hitting them?

I like the color of the first car best, the next 2 pics are of a car 8 hours away from me i am trying to get a deal on but the color appears to be darker and i am not sure if i like it.

I think that you will find that the first one is Sapphire Silver Blue Metalic - SSB. IMHO (See my signature) the best of the Crossfire colors.
Depending on how the sun hits it - it can change to many different shades.

Yes, the top car is Sapphire Silver Blue like mine, and the bottom one is Graphite Grey. SSB is a rare SRT color. IT definitely changes color depending on the light. Sometimes it's more silver, other times it's light blue. Here are some pics in different light:

Plus the one in my sig. Yes, these are all pictures of the same car, my car.

it looks silver gray in the top one. this really sucks because the nearest srt6's are hours away and it makes it nearly impossible for me to get a good feel on what color they are. some photos make the silver blue looks like a powder blue which i do not like. i do not like the black at all, the chrome and black i feel clashes and it looks terrible. i like the darker blue pretty well and if the silver blue looks more silver then i like the top photo best then.
this is so frustraiting, lol

Can you guys post some more pics of your srt-6's in different colors? I am trying to get one in the next 2-3 weeks but it is tough to really tell what they look like with just pics. is the silver-blue more like a powder blue?
thanks!
another question, i hate how the window trim is a different color. How difficult is it to remove? I plan to paint mine to match. can you purchase them color matched to the body?

Not sure what you are talking about the top one looking grey. The first pic as well as the pics I posted are SSB. I won't lie, the car does look powder blue at times. In the direct sunlight it looks silver. The SSB blends with the silver trim better than any other color. U really dont have much of a choice, you either get ssb that sometimes looks poeder blue, black, charcoal grey, or really blue aero blue. I may be biased, but I think SSB looks the most elegant of all the choices.
Since the na Crossfires and SRT-6s are painted the same colors you can always look up a local na Crossfire to look at and judge the color.
i found a graphite gray and aero blue in georga about 30 minutes apart and at almost the same price. i will talk with both, make hte 8.5 hour drive down and decide then i guess lol.
i found some better pics of the graphite gray, i think i may like it best now.

To return to the original question on SRT-6 colors, I believe that only 4 of the "standard" Crossfire colors were used: SSB, Graphite Grey, Black, and Aero Blue. I've personally seen the graphite and the aero blue (see my sig), and both are excellent choices. I like the darker colors, which set off the satin-silver colored windshield frames and side strakes. It's all personal choice, of course.

I have $4,000 set aside for performance mods already.
Some people like the silver trim to stand out, others like it to blend. Enthusiast's choice.
If you want to see a selection of photos of an aero blue SRT roadster ,go to the Motor Trend magazine site and enter road test review 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6.
