Default Gauges and help with boost line

I finally received my guages in the mail. I need to remove them from the guage pod and find a good place/way to mount them. I was looking for a place to tap into for a boost signal, but havent been able to find one yet. Everything i tap into sems to be a vacuum line. Does anyone know where there is a boost line under the hood so i can run a feed to the boost guage without tapping into the "Y" piece?

I think you have to go through the Y.

thanks...thats what i have been reading. its no big deal to drill/tap, i was just hoping to find a line already present. i need a good place anyway so the methanol boost line can be installed, so i might as well just go ahead and drill/tap. Any idea why the boost taps that people are installing are so big? An 1/8" line should be more than enough for the guage. Thanks again

Keep us updated on where you mount them and how it works out. I've been wanting to add some gauges, but the mounting option are few and far between on these dang cars.

I think you will find that adding alcohol injection will give you very nice gains on the srt6. With lower temps and advancing timing with a custom ecu tune you will see some very nice times at the track.
