Check out my gallery and you can see the interior of a stock muffler. I tried to scoop out the innards to look stock and inprove the sound and power flow. Removing the guts and stainless tigging of the can back together provided better flow but the same small sound, not for me. I then added a stainless wye pipe to get the correct look and center to center spacing and Iam very satisfied , finally with it. Woody

 

Woody, I take it that you left the resonator on the car? The new Y tips look good. I like the square look better I think. I saw a beautiful set that were a little bigger than stock at the shop when I had the resonator removed. Maybe someday when I have to have the muffler replace?
