Default Goat for desert last night...

Powis road and north ave around 6:30ish last night I had a LS2 GTO pull up next to me a the light. He gives me a look and then starts talking to me. I lower SNOOP DO double G down and he asks "are those SRT's quick?" I said "this one runs low 12's with just intake and pulley's." This guy was maybe 20 years old. He looks's at his friend next to him and they kinda laugh in disbelief. He then tell's me he'll give me the jump at the light! I said "well I really don't need the jump but if you want that I'll give it to ya!" Light turn's green and I put several bus lenghts on him up to 80ish and then slow down and wait for the second round where i'm really hoping he takes me more seriously. I do a roll on with him from around 35-40 mph and pull 5-7 lenghts almost immediatly and then I catch the next light with him at pheasant run! Him and his friend at this point are both in disbelief. There looking at me now like I killed there grandma! He says "i'll give it my best this time!" like the second race he didn't!? I again destroy him by a few bus lenghts up to nearly 90 and then he stayed back and pulled away into the charlestowne mall. Goats are yummy!

Carefull - - Last time the cops towed your car away and almost took your license... and we didn't hear from you again for months.

We don't want to lose you again..

A must have mod for the SRT6 is a Calibre K40 dual radar detector..

at first i thought you were hitting greek town....but i see now, great job! i ripped a modded hood scooped, mustang a new one yesterday,he was all revving up his aftermarket exhaust in traffic,i pulled into micky D,s where he was and we talked a min and he said he had no 2nd gear so a rolling start would be good for him, from like 40 we punched it,i pulled out on him 4 cars by 70mph.i waited up,he said he missed the shift so i let him jump first and smoked him again.another one bites the dust,im going to start carrying my video camera!its going to be a great summer!!

I kinda wondered where you went, I thought you may have got sent to a special driving school with your car and they wouldn't let you out till you could drive it with out a smile on your face. BTW, thank you for your service to our country.

Nope,

I actually paid 1500 in lawyer fees and court costs and got everything dropped. It was still a very painful experience!

BTW Thanks...

There are GTOs and Mustangs everywhere up here.
Maybe it will be an interesting summer.
Though I seem to only see good 'competition' for the SRT6 when I'm in my 2001 Accord.

Ahh, good to have you back. I thought you were going to be parting it out and selling it.

Ouch !!

Still - could've been a lot worse, but #&^*$, that was MOD MONEY !!

I Hope that since they dropped the charges that your insurance didn't go up.

If you can, come to the Dragon meet in the fall so we can check out your ride - best stretch of insane rollcoaster perfect tarmac ever !!
(Bet Gary told you that already, though.)

BTW, I appreciate the service as well; I did two hitches in the USN myself.

Insurance was not a factor as nothing hit my permanent record. The judge was cool as he asked if I had at least "won" the race and the officer responded for me by saying yes.
