chrysler really is not good with service, horrible news...
about a month ago i had damage under neath my car so i took it to the dealership to get it looked at, they told me my radiator cracked and was leaking, the price to get it fixed was expensive to i took it to a independent shop for them to look at. they told me i have two radiators and that both are leaking so i called Chrysler and i told them that this place said this was the problem with my car, they said that is not possible because my srt6 only has one radiator. so i went ahead and had the dealership replace my radiator for out the door fee of $500 so they did and a month later i take it in for service on my alarm and i also asked them to look at why my car is leaking maybe a spoonful of anti freeze every couple days and they ended up telling me my second radiator is partially broken and will cost $800 to fix...geez i'm running out of money here lol any suggestions? should i just let the car be because for the past month i have not fixed my "second" radiator designed to cool the supercharger i haven't had problems except for a very minor leak, should i leave it alone or what? any suggestions?
I suggested a new dealership not for the price, but the fact they had told you you only had 1 radiator in your srt.
I suggest you print our this picture and show it to them

Is your SRT not under warranty?? Just get the bigger one from LET. I tihnk the price is $320 and it's a DIY job..you might have to get the bigger pump too, but it's still cheaper than going the $800 stealership route

The thing I found was there are hardly any good crossfire mechanics, I had one and he left, and is know taking classes at Benz...... I cant find any 5 star or any for that matter in a 2 hour drive from my home, they pretty muchdont know what they are doing, and most Benz dealers dont want to get Chrysler on their hands...lol
I decided to buy a benz and wait for the SRT, my son is also going to sell his XF and go AMG...

Independent Mercedes repair shops seem to be happy to work on the engine and drivetrain portions of the car. The rest is probably gonna be pretty much up to us.
Use a radiator stop leak additive. Not really. Just kidding.
How are you getting the leaks anyway?

basically a couple months ago a tire damage the bottom portion of my car and it damaged both radiators, the main radiator was leaking a lot and i noticed maybe a tea spoon full of coolant dripping every couple days from my lower radiator
you could just be like me and take it to a merc dealership. they fixed my trunk rattle under warranty. of course the rattle is back but i dont think it will ever be gone completely so i drive my slk32 or my jaguar more often now
By luck, my Chrysler dealership is good. They have special mechanics designated to work on Vipers and Crossfires. So I am pretty comfortable, even though nothing has gone wrong. They handle my state inspection. Call around and ask for certified Crossfire mechanics. Good luck
