I think this would be an outstanding modification. Considering the cars don't have door window frames and the way the roof butts to the windshield, it would look amazing and natural. I'm sure the cost would be quite prohibitive though. I think a Targa style roof would be even better. I don't know if anyone has attempted it, but I've thought about it and visualized it many times...

Good Luck if you decide to do it.

Ditto to every word of that. I owned a T-Roof vehicle in the past, and it was a great experience. Of course, the center spine design just about demands a "t." If you ever do that mod, please post the pics!

I totally agree. The car LOOKS like it has a T-Top with the ridge that runs down the roof.

But I'm sure there are structural modifications to the body that would be needed to reinforce the frame. The best way to do it, would be converting a 'Vert Crossfire into a T-Top (add a roof + T's), since the car is already made to support itself without the roof.

I think you better go easy on the Jack Daniel. T tops would look hooky and ruin the classic roof line.
Please don't chop it up. Buy a Roadster if you must.
