Looks sharp AMX - nice mandrel bends - is that chrome or polish?

Nice. The CAI's are way to expensive for what they are. That's why I dont have one. But a fool and his money are soon parted. Geuss that is how they sell them.

Nice work. I made my own a while back as well using 3" pipe and an AEM Dryflo filter. I had it powdercoated gloss black once I got it all together. I would love to have some gloss black Needswings intake manifolds to set the look off.

Did it make a difference at all to you? That seems odd that it didn't even drop a few tenths.

I went from a 13.26 to a 12.72 after my install of the nw intake. I think as you get more used to your car, you'll drop a few more tenths. Some of the best stock times are low 13.00's, one even claimed 12.9's completely stock. Even if you don't want to extend your intake through the radiator pass, I recommend removing the factory piece and taking off the grill for one pass and see how it does with all that air forced through the pass. Way to hit the track and represent the 6's.
